2023 SpotlightPersonal Statement
I started playing soccer at six years old for the local YMCA and fell in love with the sport. From there I joined the future Juniors program with Wake Futbol Club, and have been with the club ever since. Through the years, my team has been finalists at the Jefferson Cup, won the NC State Cup, played in the Southeast Regionals, been runner-up at the Disney Soccer Tournament...all to say, my teammates and I have had a great time together, both on and off the field. I was the Team Captain for my MLS team for both the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 seasons.
Athletically, I enjoy strong competition and have played a variety of positions and roles within the team. As an outside left back, I love the ability to both defend and to also create offensive opportunities, but I also enjoy playing Left Wing/Midfielder, Defending Midfielder, and Center Attacking Midfielder when needed.
Academically, I'm a Junior in high school taking a variety of Honors and AP classes and maintaining a high A/B average. Math has always been my favorite and best subject.
I'm looking forward to the recruiting process and finding the right school for me.
