Spring 2023Personal Statement
At the top of my list of college goals and aspirations is to play soccer and train year-round as well as contribute to a strong, cohesive team. I plan to study Business and Statistics to develop a career I can pursue after finishing my soccer path.
For as long as I can remember, soccer has been the main focus of my life. On the field, I am a vocal leader who is defensive-minded. I try to help my teammates play the best they can and I am committed to trying my hardest every day. I always try to look for a weak spot in my game and then train to improve it. This makes me coachable and I am always open to guidance.
I hold myself to a high academic and athletic standard. I am an upbeat person who always brings a positive attitude to everyday life. I try to improve through consistent training on the pitch and working out by myself.

- Activities I am in two business-related clubs, as the Industry of Business is exciting to me. I am in the Economics club and Future Business Leaders of America. In these clubs we discuss finance and the stock market. The stock market in particular is very interesting to me as I share an account with my mom; we love to watch and invest in stocks. I'm taking a summer class at Wake Forest in Finance (2023) and completed a short internship with Stanley Steemer International.
