Tiago Bittencourt '22 Recruiting Profile

Having being born in Brazil, soccer has been a part of my life since I can remember. I first started playing soccer at my local U8 team at the age of 6. When I moved to America at the age of 8, I played 2 age divisions up until the age of 11. I then went on to play for CSA in one of the most competitive levels of soccer in North Carolina. I then went on to play for Queen City Mutiny in the MLS NEXT league. After graduating high school, I have taken up an opportunity to play soccer in Spain for a year with Eture Sports (full season 2022-2023).  These years of experience have taught me how to become a team player on and off the field, a team leader when my team needs it the most and to be determined to reach the goals of my team and myself. Academically, I am an A student with very high expectations of myself.

I am looking for a school that has a competitive athletic program and has a high academic standards. The aspect of my game that makes me a favorable candidate for a college team is my ability to thrive under pressure, my vision of the game, and my drive to be successful no matter what it takes.
