My name is Nolan Maxwell and I am a 2021 graduate from Durham North Carolina. I play forward or outside mid for Triangle United 02 Gold.
When I was young I played multiple sports. My sister played soccer and would ask me to play with her in the yard. She told me that I was good and encouraged me to play. I decided to take time off from other sports to try recreational soccer. I found that I was having success playing soccer and got recruited to play club. One thing that I have learned about myself as I got older was that I wanted to dedicate more time to soccer. I was willing to wake up at 6:30am every morning during the summer to go to the weight room or fields to train.
Academically I started high school very strong and want to continue in high school by getting mostly A's. I look forward to taking a variety of classes in highschool and college. I would like to amjor in Sports Management. I have been told that I am very determined about things once I make my mind up. I hope to use this quality in my future in soccer as well as academics.
