Thomas (Mac) Mills '26 Recruiting Profile

I’m Mac Mills and I play multiple positions for my High School Varsity and NC Fusion club teams. I attend Wesleyan Christian Academy in High Point, NC and have 3 years of experience playing for Coach Scott Reitnour. I was the only Freshman selected for the Varsity team in 2022 and played half of each game almost every game my Freshman season finishing with 3 goals and 3 assists. My Sophomore season, I was a starting outside midfielder, but also played CM, CAM, Striker, and CDM. I ended the season with 7 goals, earned the Silver Boot award given to the player with the most assists (17) during the season, and our season ended as NCISAA 4A runners up in 2023. In the Fall 2024 season I sustained an injury early in the season limiting my play to the first 2 and last 3 weeks of the season but finished with 3 goals and 5 assists. I was All-Conference first team in 2023 and 2024. For my club team at NC Fusion, I primarily play CM, but also play Striker, CAM, and CDM. I have been a team captain for the past 4 years, our team is back-to-back NC State Cup champions, and have represented NC in the Southern Regional tournaments in Baton Rouge (2023) and Tampa (2024). My goal is to continue developing, play and contribute to a college team, and earn a degree in something I can excel in as an adult. Academically I have challenged myself by taking Honors and AP courses. I am a hard working, versatile, and coachable player that strives for excellence, and plays with a combination of physicality, strength, and finesse.
