Being from a small town in North Carolina has made me appreciate all of the opportunities to play soccer. I played for a local club for around 5 years and I felt that I needed to play at the next level. I now play for a team that is about an hour drive away. This motivates me want to work my hardest since I am traveling so much to play. I like to think of myself as an adaptable player. I adjust between the style of soccer my original club team played, the style my new team plays, and the style my high school team plays.
A big factor in the college search for me is finding a school with a great soccer program and an excellent academic program. My goal in college academically is to study a science, maybe Biology or Chemistry, and then proceed to medical school. This motivates me to keep my grades up in school and balance them with training for soccer.
