Personal Statement
I have been playing year-round soccer since I was very young! My current club team is Charlotte Soccer Academy-South Elite U-19. I am also a Varsity Starter for my high school team. I have aspired to play soccer at the collegiate level since I can remember. I stand out from other recruits by being very coachable, lead by example while encouraging my teammates, and I work very hard in the classroom, as well as on the field, evidenced by a high GPA. I am currently an International Bachelorette (IB) student at South Iredell High School in Statesville NC and I began the IB program starting in sixth grade and I am currently a Senior. I also volunteer coach a youth soccer team.
I would like to attend a college where I can be challenged inside the classroom as well as on the field. I have also been awarded many different academic awards including "Presidential Outstanding Academic EXCELLENCE", Science National Honor Society, and most recently awarded "National Society of High School Scholars" award. I was also granted acceptance to "CampMed 2020 Summer Program" thru Wake Forest University. I completed the program July 2020 and was granted a certificate of completion. Camp Med is an online summer program geared toward students interested in pursuing a degree in medicine. My career goal is to become a Dentist; I am seeking undergraduate field of study in Biology.
My ultimate goal is to find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible!
