Samuel Cooke '24 Recruiting Profile

Since I started playing soccer, I was told to play hard and "leave it all on the field". Every time I start a game, I play my hardest and walk away knowing I gave it 110%. I have been told that I am extremely coachable and take constructive feedback seriously. I appreciate watching others and learning from my teammates and my coaching staff. Leadership is also important on the field and I enjoy being a Co-Captain with some of my senior teammates this year. When I am not on the soccer pitch, I am playing my tenor drums in the NBHS Marching Band, which happens to coincide with my soccer season. I am very passionate about my school Drumline and have been selected as the Drumline Section Leader for this marching season. It hasn't been easy, but I have found a balance between the two most important things to me. I would love to earn my place on a college soccer team so I can continue to play the game I have grown to love while earning a degree in Architecture or Engineering.
