Donald Leahy - 50...Personal Statement
I have incredible speed and also stand at 6'3 which makes me the main target for set pieces. So far i have scored 69 goals for my high school and am planning on scoring 40 goals senior season to go above 100. I recently received my high school's MVP Men's Soccer award for the 2018/2019 season. I ended my last club season with 17 goals in 16 games and currently have 5 goals in 7 state games for ODP NC. I am currently in the South Region Pool for ODP as well.
Soccer is all i do, it's all i think about. I'm not just up for a challenge, I'm searching for it. I am fully committed for the responsibilities of training and playing for a college team.
I try hard to maintain good grades for the sake of getting into a good college and pursuing both soccer and my profession. I'm open to all and any options.
On the field, I am very good team player. I see myself as an attacker with the mindset of a midfielder. No matter what situation or team we're facing I always step on the field giving everything I can to win. Whats important to me is that and only that. One player doesn't score, a team scores. I have been captaining the Varsity soccer team at Atkins high school for 2 years now.
