Personal Statement
I first touched a soccer ball in the backyard with my dad at the age of 4. Since then my love for the game has been unmatched. My dad introduced me to soccer and also has showed me what it means to love your career and life. Both him and my mother are physical therapists and they have had the biggest influence on who I am and who I want to be. Seeing them enjoying their careers has pushed me in the direction of wanting my career to also be in the field of physical therapy. It is not an easy career to achieve, but the responsibility, leadership and passion that playing soccer has taught me will be the main driving force of me getting there. The responsibility and leadership soccer has taught me is something that I also bring to the classroom. I know that school will get me the farthest in life and maintaining my academic success is the most important thing I can do for myself. Every time I step onto the field I bring the natural leadership, sense of responsibility, and play with the passion that my parents and the sport of soccer has instilled in me.
