2014 HighlightsPersonal Statement
I have played soccer all of my life and it has always been my dream to play college soccer. Being in the military has also been a dream of mine since I was very young. I plan to attend either a senior military college or become a member of ROTC/Corps of Cadets at another university.
I am a third generation Eagle Scout, and scouting has taught me how to be a leader on and off the field. I believe that academics are just as important as athletics, and I have maintained at least a 3.7 GPA in high school so far.
I have been a varsity starter for my high school team every year, with three varsity letters.
I was selected 1st Team All Miami Valley North and 1st Team All Central Buckeye Conference the past two seasons, 1st Team All District II last season, and also named Best Attacker of the team this year. I was the leading scorer for Bellefontaine High School this season with 14 goals and 1 assist. My high school season was really disappointing, with only 5 wins, but I was the leading scorer for my club team, with 15 goals on the season. My club team won the Pacesetter's Invitational in Toledo, that was awesome!
Teamwork is the key to success on the field, so I believe the players should be a brotherhood off the field; you'll never walk alone. I also believe with hard work all goals are achievable.
