Devin Heiberger '19 Recruiting Profile

My name is Devin Lee Heiberger. I have been playing soccer since i was 4 years old. I have always excelled and learned at a very young age that i love this sport. I am very athletic and also have played basketball for my middle school team. Presently I am starting Varsity at left mid for my High School Soccer team as a Freshman. I have played some forward also for my High School but my coach loves my vision of the field from a midfield stand point. I am looking forward to continuing my growth in the High School atmosphere. I have also been playing Club Soccer for a Club named "Pride SC" out of Canal Winchester, Ohio since i was 7 years old. We presently are playing in the OSSL, Ohio South State League, came in 2nd place last Spring Season, 2015 and have been accepted to play in the MRL, Midwest Regional League this upcoming 2016 Spring season. I mainly played forward either at the center or as a wing and was the leading assist and goal scorer for most of the seasons with the Club. What makes me a great candidate is that I am a team player. I have great vision and can see the entire field. I get great satisfaction in completing a successful pass, to having an assist, to scoring a goal.  I have great footwork and great knowledge of the game and have trained with several private trainers over the seasons to increase my knowledge and skill for the game.  I had a 3.85 GPA average at the end of 8th grade and am looking forward to improving that even further since my High School career has just started.

 I recognize that playing soccer in college will continue to reinforce my ability to work in a team environment as well as increasing my leadership abilities both on and off the field!
