Hi Coaches! My name is Kyle Healy. This past fall, I was the starting Center Mid senior captain for the nationally-ranked Saint Ignatius High School, where I received the honors of Team MVP. This past December, I participated in the High School All-American Game in Orlando. I was honored to be one of the 19 selected out of 70 players to represent the West team. I was selected and highlighted by topdrawersoccer.com on the Boy HS Fall: All American Watch List.
My club team is Team Challenger FC from Ohio North. As Captain, it is my role to set the example of leadership, on and off the field, and to support my teammates as we strive to be the best. My usual position is Center Mid either at Attacking or Holding due to my ability to read the field and create ball movement. My versatility and speed also allows me to play on the Wing which I have done many times.
Off the field, I have been volunteering at Youth Challenge since I was 12 years old. Youth Challenges is a year-around around sports and recreation program for children with physical disabilities. Over the years, I have helped a blind athlete play a game of foot golf, participate in many challenging games of soccer from a wheelchair, and assisted athletes in the weight room at open gym night.
These experiences on and off the field have prepared me to play at the highest level and compete against the best competition.
