Greyson Conyers '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Greyson Conyers. I am a 5’4” Outside Back from Columbus, OH. I have a 3.75 GPA and I’ve been on the honor roll 3 out of 4 quarters last school year.  I have been playing soccer at the national level for 4 years. My club team and I won the Ohio State Cup in 2021, and we advanced to the regional championships in Chicago, finishing 2nd overall. 

I would like to attend a larger school where I can find a good balance between my school work, and time on the soccer field. Ideally I would like to stay in and around where I currently live in Columbus, Ohio and the Midwest. Preferably a DI or a DII school with high academic standards. I currently do not have a specific major in mind but I have interests in Finances, Business, and Geology.

On top of my high academics and my high level soccer abilities, I'm currently a multi sport athlete as well. I’m a member of the Varsity Wrestling team for my high school of Bishop Watterson. Last season, I was a Sectional placer and District Qualifier for the State Tournament.  I’ve won my weight class CCL the last two years. Although I’ve had success as a wrestler, my passion is on the soccer field.  

I’d like to follow in my Dad’s footsteps as a DI athlete. He was a four year varsity letter winner and 2000 Olympic Trials qualifier. Those are big shoes, but I know that I am capable of playing soccer at the next level. This makes me even more excited to play soccer at the next level, and pursue my lifelong dream of playing collegiate soccer and earning a well respected four year college degree. When I’m on the soccer field, I try to play to the best of my ability, and make a difference for my team. Knowing that I've given my all is what makes me happy and proud of who I am both on and off the soccer field.
