Liam Ertsgaard '20 Recruiting Profile

My GPA doesn't reflect my intellectual ability. This is because Freshman year I was too lackadaisical with my studies since then my grades have been higher consistently. I feel like this is necessary information because one of my top skills in terms of soccer is my intelligence. I have never been the biggest, fastest, or strongest so I always thought I had to be the smartest player on the field. This thought process has lead to quick thinking and field vision to be among my most refined skills. I am the type of player who is perfectly fine with filling any role necessary. For instance, my role on my select team is to bring energy and intensity off the bench while my role for the school team was to be the field general. These are extremely different roles and because of that I have more varied experience than most other players who are always filling the same role and it makes me a more dynamic player.
