Dear Future Coach:
Why should you put your faith in me? At my high school, Bishop Fenwick, we guide ourselves by our talons: faith, integrity, service, and compassion. These talons are not only a guideline to how we live our lives, but an insight as to who I am. I am a strong believer in my Catholic faith and my strength in family. They mean the most to me. I take pride in all things I do in the classroom, on the pitch, and in the community. I am a first honors, national honor society student taking all honors and AP classes. I am on track to graduate with an honors diploma. I have already taken college credit classes in engineering, history, and this Summer at Brown I will take Forensics. On the pitch, I consider myself a teammate, but also a leader. I play mostly outside back or center back for my club. We have travelled all over playing different levels of teams. I have learned so much soccer from those opponents. Off the pitch, I am a mentor for younger teams. I coach 9 year olds and help train at my club. I am also a part of the Semicolon Project with my brother after we lost a friend to suicide. I work hard to give a voice to those who feel they don't have one.
I have a strong relationship with my parents and extended family. Their belief and support of me helps drive me every day. I hope to make them all proud some day of all I achieve in college and beyond. I believe if given a chance and with my coach ability I can make a difference in your program.
