Personal Statement
My enjoyment of soccer has led me to continue to push myself to grow in the sport. As such, I am interested in having an opportunity to play at the collegiate level. I consider myself very self-motivated and hard working, both on the pitch and in the classroom. This hard work has paid off in the classroom, as I presently carry a 4.29 cumulative GPA, entering my Junior year in high school. On the field, I continue to challenge myself to improve my game, in an effort to compete at the highest level possible. After having the opportunity to start at the Varsity level during my Freshman and Sophomore years, I earned an Honorable Mention for our conference's All-League Team after last season.
In addition to being fortunate enough to achieve these successes, I was recently honored with Bishop Fenwick High School's Kyle Babcock Scholarship, which is awarded annually to the soccer player applicant who best exemplifies the qualities of character and passion for soccer that were exhibited by the late Kyle Babcock, who died in a car accident.
My goal is to find a school that is the right fit for my academic and personal development, and an opportunity to play soccer in college would be a dream come true.
I appreciate your interest, and I believe that I would be a credit to your program.
