Personal Statement

I aspire to play collegiate soccer while pursuing a degree in engineering or physical therapy.  I love the game of soccer and pride myself on being one of the most passionate and gritty player that anyone will ever coach or play with.  I dedicate myself to the game year-round, playing starting goalie for FC42 U18 Academy team as well as a very successful 16-2 high school team.  As a Junior, I received a First Team All-Conference Player Award as well having the record for shutouts in a single season and career shutouts for my high school team.  I also understand the importance of being a team player and leader on and off the field.  I believe as a goalie I have the responsibility to be one of the strongest voices on the field.  I aspire to make my defense successful regardless of their skill set or what level of competition we face.  I think of soccer and academics as my job and I always bring 100% of myself to the table.

  • Coach endorsements Dan Lahut , Coach, F.C. 42 Athletic ability: 9/10 Leadership: 9/10 Team player: 10/10 Easy to work with: 10/10 Ability: "Evan's athletic ability is easily above average...and he has made dramatic improvement every season. Considering his work ethic/attitude, I do not doubt that he will continue improving athletically, each season. Within the next 2 seasons I fully expect Evan to be a superior GK, given the right training foundation, and physically maturing into adulthood. Evan's talent, athletic ability, and attitude, are rapidly carrying him toward excellence." Personality: "Evan is maturing into, and daily grasping hold of his potential as an outstanding leader and athlete. Thus, he is reaching out to coaches, fellow athletes and others, creating positive and productive relationships. He sets the example in all environments to never back down from a challenge, to be positive in every situation, and to self evaluate circumstances for improvement. He is totally enjoyable, on and off the field. Evan's confidence is admirable and contagious. A 'great' personality for any team."

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
