Soccer has been my number one passion since I got my first taste of the game at age 7. As a goalkeeper, the adrenaline rush I get when blocking a goal is unparalleled to any other experience I’ve had. I love stepping out onto the pitch every game with the welcome pressure of being the last line of defense between a loss or a win. I pride myself in having absolutely zero fear even if that means sacrificing my body to stop a goal. I have been playing soccer year round for the last 4 years to hone my skills, both recreationally, and competitively at the club and high school level. My goal is to play at the collegiate level.
Having to juggle marching band and soccer, with their seasons running simultaneously, I believe I have the personal skill set to succeed in college. I have learned the importance of effective communication with my coaches, band directors, and parents. Additionally, I have gained excellent time management and organizational skills. I’ve been able to do this all while maintaining an attractive GPA.
I am looking for a college that will help me grow as a soccer player and a person. I am interested in pursuing a law enforcement degree. As a soccer player, I am very coachable and am always asking for feedback on how I can improve. I am not afraid to put in the hard work to achieve my and the team goals to be successful at the collegiate level.
