Personal Statement
My name is Kolbe Rice, I graduated from catholic central high school in the year 2019. I started College at Richmond International Academic Soccer Academy in Leeds England which is closing in fall of 2020 and am now looking to transfer back to the states and play soccer at the highest level possible. Two of the most important things in my life are my family and my Catholic faith. As the second oldest in a family of seven, I've learned the importance of being a part of a team from a young age. My faith has inspired me to serve others, and each summer I work as a counselor at a Catholic summer camp.
From as long as I can remember I loved playing soccer. However, when I was ten years old I began one-on-one training with an Italian coach and I realized that this sport was more than just a game for me: it was a passion. I've learned a lot about myself by playing the sport. Soccer has taught me the value of sacrifice, the importance of staying focused, and how to more effectively to work with others.
