Matthew Grothaus ...Personal Statement
As a child I loved soccer and so do I now, I used to look up to players like Ronaldo and basically worshipped them. I used to practice shooting and how to become just a bit more like Ronaldo developing my technique and such. I did this because I wanted to go pro and I will fulfill that dream of going pro. College is just one of the steps to help me go pro. So I’d say I work harder than tons of kids my age because I always strive to be the best, whether that is on the field or in class. Everything is a competition that motivates me to become better to get closer to my goal of becoming a better player.
