Personal Statement
I first began playing soccer in kindergarten. Even though I also did Brazilian jiu jitsu and later played basketball, nothing could compare to soccer. It was and always will be my passion. Playing varsity my freshman year and starting every game motivated me to join club soccer. I wanted to add the technical skills necessary to develop into a complete player, for myself as well as for my team. Being made a team captain and receiving the 1st Team All Districts award as a junior encouraged me that my dedication to my goals is paying off. I aspire to pursue a degree in finance and/or marketing at the college that best challenges me academically and athletically. My integrity, discipline and excellent time management skills will make me an asset to a program. I look forward to the opportunity to participate in soccer at a higher level.
