Personal Statement
I am looking for a college that is outstanding academically, as well as one that has the chance to compete at the national level in soccer (DIII). I have been playing soccer since I started elementary school 12 years ago, and I have remained dedicated and played as a starter for every team I have been on since then. For years I was the smallest on my team, but I always made up for it by being the smartest, fastest, most aggressive, or the most technical player on my team, and now I am no longer the smallest player out there. Most of all, I love to play, especially when it is at a high level. I play for the most elite club in the state, which produced three of the players drafted in the first round of the 2020 MLS draft.
Academics are the most important thing to me. I took all IB classes my junior and senior years, in which I maintained a 4.0 unweighted GPA (4.78 weighted). I look forward to excelling both on the field and in the classroom in college.
