Victor Camargo '27 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Victor Camargo. I was born in Indaiatuba, São Paulo, Brazil. In Brazil, I played and trained in such a competitive (Highest level of youth soccer in Brazil; Campeonato Paulista), elite environment for 3 years with a club called Esporte Clube Primavera within the Academy as a CB and RB. Playing and training with high developed athletes and knowledgeable coaches has taught me valuable lessons to improve and become a high level athlete, but also lessons to apply and improve as a person, such as hard work, keeping a positive attitude and mindset, maintaining discipline on and off the pitch, and leadership skills. 

About a year ago, I moved to Canada where I could get selected to spend a week of training at Kapitiva Sports Academy and San Cugat Academy in Barcelona, Spain, where I learned more about the structure of a top-notch academy.

Currently, I'm playing as a Right Back(Wing Back) for North Toronto Nitros OPDL u16s. And I've been fortunate enough to play with the older group, U17s. I have also played for Kitchener TFC within the academy for 2 years (also played a year up). There, we as a team could be finalists of the Ontario Cup, and get qualified for Nationals; U-15. 

My athleticism, passing ability, game understanding, vision to distribute and create better options offensively, dribbling skills, and defensive skills set me apart on the field.
