Personal Statement
Remy helped lead his team to the 6A State Championships (Jesuit HS, Portland) by scoring the goals in both the quarterfinal and semifinal games.
Remy is a multi-talented Center/Forward from the class of 2020, who already has demonstrated the skills, athleticism and desire to be a highly recruited athlete by the time he enters his senior season. He has size (6’1”) and speed (4.6s, 40y), both which he uses to his full advantage. On offense, he displays excellent passing skills, he sees the whole field and is able to make sure that plays are developing and his players are in position. He also has very good dribbling and ball-handling skills and is very technically sound. As a scorer, he stands out, he can use either foot, displays great anticipation and has a powerful leg. On defense, he controls his area, engages the opponent with strength and athleticism and when necessary delivers tough tackle to the opponent. He uses his excellent fitness and strength to consistently be in the face of the opponent and when they have the ball, he turns aggressive. On set defensive and offensive plays he displays excellent jumping and positioning. He has an incredible motor and is always going full speed.
Remy not only is a very good soccer player, he is a very good student with a 3.8 GPA. He wants to be the best he can be, whether on the pitch, in the weight room or in the classroom. His goal is to play college soccer at the highest level, and there is no question that with his skills, work ethic and desire, his dream will come true.
