Currently, I am open to any school that would want me to join their program. I would love to be able to stay on the West Coast to be closer to my family. However, I enter this search for the best fit with an open mind and a love for soccer that will hopefully help me find where I belong. For me personally, the most important thing is to have a competitive soccer experience, while achieving what I desire to do academically as well. Although soccer is an extremely important aspect of my life, my academics are equally as important. The majors that I am currently looking at are Biology and Kinesiology. I became interested in these majors after having to spend three months on crutches and six months in physical therapy for a bone contusion and ankle injury last year. I talked a lot with my physical therapists about their experience getting their degree in college, and the two subjects seemed to relate to my overall interests and desires as a student. As a player, I have had to face a lot of adversity throughout the years because of where I came from, as well as my small size growing up. Although these things have brought me a lot of struggles along the way, I believe they have shaped me into the student and athlete I am today. I will always bring intensity, perseverance, and a winning mentality to both games and trainings. Ultimately, I believe that the adversity I have had to face over the years has given me an edge to my game that will allow me to compete at the collegiate level, while also being able to connect with my coaches and teammates.
