Personal Statement

My name is Desmond Wendt and I want to play at the highest possible collegiate level of soccer. I am a sophomore at Wilson High School in Portland. I take school very seriously and have a 3.8 GPA. As a student I would like to study design whether that be graphic design, apparel design, etc. 

As a player I stand out from others with my controlled touch and passing, assisting ability, and speed of all sorts. The demands and expectations of top level Westside Timbers Copa teams, which I've played on since elementary school, enforce character, discipline, commitment and work ethic as we try to win State Cup and go to Regionals. These are characteristics that I succeed most players in and bring to my other teams, such as ODP and the varsity team at my school, which plays the top level in Oregon.
