Personal Statement
A person who’s always been there supporting me through my mental and physical challenges has been my mom. Always inspiring me to become a better goalkeeper everyday and never give up on my dream. A goal that I have when going into College would be to get my Bachelors in Criminal Justice and be able earn an athletic scholarship money. Earning athletic scholarship money would help pay off any books or classes and make sure that I can finish my four years of college without any student debt . As an athlete that works hard 6 days of the week. Weather it’s training in the gym or going to field to work on technique, I’m always trying to make everyday count. What ends up making me different from other athletes is that I like to push myself to my limits and train even if I'm tired or sore throughout the week. There have been many days where I felt miserable or didn’t get enough sleep from the day before. Driving 3 days of the week to go to practice that is forty-five minutes away puts a toll on your mental health. But that’s not gonna stop me from achieving the next level of soccer. With that being said, I currently have 3.98 GPA and making sure that my grades stay at an A because it shows how dedicated I am with school, but also with soccer. School is just as important as sports, if not a bit more. If you ever get the chance to work with me, I’ll make sure to work harder than the other goalkeepers, and to show that I have what it takes to be part of your college team.
