JESSE SUMNER SOCCER Personal Statement
Soccer has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. The game as taught me lessons about commitment, leadership, and teamwork. The feeling of winning a championship with your teammates is indescribable and I strive to get back to that level of success everyday from season to season. Nothing matters more to me than winning and winning the right way. I'm focused and determined on working hard and being a solid college player.
I'm looking for a program that not only has the athletics but the academics. I hold myself to the highest standard and want to be challenged in the classroom as well as on the pitch. I know that I can impact any team positively with my talent, work ethic, attitude, and leadership. Leaving everything I have on the field is what I pride myself on and I want to bring that mentality to my future program.
