May 2013 Skills F...Personal Statement
I am a 6' 4" goal keeper from Gilbertsville PA and will graduate in 2015. I have been a varsity starter since my freshman year. I have also been awarded all-league status. I enjoy all sports and have been an all-star selection in both basketball and baseball. I am a former National Karate Champion. In the off season I work on improving all areas of my game; I attend many soccer camps to better my skills and I use my home gym to increase my strength.
My passion is soccer and I strongly believe that I have been blessed with the ability to play the game at a very high level. To give back to the Boyertown community, I volunteer my time as a TOPS Soccer Buddy. I help instruct special needs children in the game of soccer.
I would prefer a school that would allow me to make a significant contribution early in my career. I have excelled in the classroom and on the soccer field. My goal is to be in an academically and athletically challenging situation located in the eastern half of the United States. I am open to attending a school further west with the right financial assistance. I am planning to major in History with an eye on Law School after earning my undergraduate degree. The size of the school is not a major concern; I am open to all opportunities.
