Personal Statement
I currently attend Bishop Shanahan High School in Downingtown, Pennsylvania. I am a varsity dual sport athlete in both Soccer and Track and Field however, soccer has always been my passion. I am primarily an outside/center back for my high school team and an outside midfielder for my club team. I hope to continue my academic and athletic aspirations in college. I am looking to major in Chemical/Aerospace Engineering and study for a Masters Degree. Personally, I want to attend a college in which I can enhance my strengths and weaknesses but also challenge them. Working hard in the classroom has never been a problem for me. I currently have a 5.17 GPA on a 6.0 weighted scale. I finished my first Junior Semester ranked number 11 in my class. I also retain a cumulative class rank of 16 out of 266. Recently, I took the SAT and PSAT scoring a 1260 and 1400 respectively. I plan on taking the ACT in the near future as well. Within my school community I am a member of the National Honor Society, the Respect Life Club, and the Ministry Club. Additionally, I am taking a peer ministry course in which we focus on serving the greater good of our fellow students and community. Outside of the classroom I am a Life Scout of Troop 7, a Boy Scout troop based out of Malvern, Pennsylvania. I plan on finishing and achieving the rank of Eagle Scout within the next couple months. College excites me and I want to perform to the best of my ability at the collegiate level both athletically and academically.
