Sebastian Niestepski '20 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Sebastian Niestepski. I have been playing soccer since I was 6 years old. Over the years of playing the sport, I have developed such a passion and love for the game. I have spent a countless amount of weekends watching the likes of Ronaldo, Messi, Hazard, Lewandowski, Modric, and De Bruyne. I enjoy watching the Premier League, La Liga, and the Bundesliga and keeping track of players and statistics. I will watch players of the same position to better improve myself every week. My collegiate goals and aspirations are continuing to play at a high level of soccer and to finish my degree. I am a good candidate for your team because of my athleticism, my ability to perform on the field, and my passion for soccer. As a center midfielder, I love to pass the ball to teammates keeping everyone in the game. I can also see the small lanes which are necessary to push the ball up the field. My good dribbling skills allow me to hold on to the ball longer if necessary, and with my size, I can hold off a defender very well. I can also put the ball in the back of the net, I had 24 goals during my junior year of soccer, playing only 21 games. My well-rounded soccer attributes will most surely help your team by any means necessary. In the classroom, I currently have a 4.0 GPA and have been on the Student Council as a Vice President all 3 years of high school. I also plan on becoming part of the prestigious National Honor Society this year. I take part in many after school activities such as Recycling Club and SADD. My character on and off the field is very different, on the field I am very serious and determined, trying to focus on how to get the win and helping other teammates get on the same page. Off the field, I am easy going and more relaxed. The one attribute I would say would be the same on and off the field that I have, is hardworking. I will always strive for the best or get the win for the team.
