Hello, I am Holden Brown and I currently play soccer for Emmaus High School and Lehigh Valley United. I am a goal-oriented, team focused individual who has achieved success both in the classroom and on the field. Academically, I have received high honors, been awarded excellence in citizenship and language arts, and obtained membership in NHS. I look forward to playing soccer with other passionate student athletes at a school that has highly competitive standards in both academics and athletics.
High-school, I primarily play as a forward and winger but have also been utilized as an attacking mid-fielder. While I am a versatile player capable of several roles, I am most comfortable and effective both as a creator and as a finisher within an offensive role. I played Varsity as a sophomore as well as captained the JV squad. I also was a starter for our state semi-final team last year as a junior. As a club player, I have been crowned as an Eastern PA State Champion, Eastern Regional League Champion, and competed in the Eastern Region Championships. My team currently participates within the Mid-Atlantic US Youth Soccer National League Conference which is the one of the most competitive club leagues in the country.
Beyond my high school and club teams, I have been involved with the Olympic Development Program. I made the U12 team, playing a year up as an eleven-year-old, and have participated multiple years since then. My 2004 team has be crowned Region 1 ODP Champion. I have also participated in the ODP regional camp for two years. In addition to soccer, I am a track athlete for Emmaus High School. As a freshman, I took part of the state qualifying 4 * 800M relay team ran third leg was part of the Emmaus HS indoor record setting 4 * 800M relay team.
I am a leader on and off the field as well as a motivated and dedicated team player. I am looking for a program where I can be an active participant, contributing to the team’s results. I desire to study/play at the highest and most competitive level to push me to my true potential both academically as well as athletically.
