My name is Miles Cook and I am a 15 year old (class of 2025) midfielder playing for Emmaus High School varsity soccer and Lower Macungie United Academy club.
I play as a pass-first playmaking outside midfielder and I use my field vision and IQ to create opportunities on and off the ball. I play on both sides of the ball and will defend tactically as a wing back when needed. My best traits as a player are my field vision and ability to communicate with my teammates, especially in defensive situations. When I step on the field I bring energy and competitive drive to those around me with a hard work ethic, high motor, and positive communication.
I am also a multi sport athlete that trains year round in soccer, track, and basketball. Playing three sports has increased my ability to perform as a high level athlete by allowing me to improve my sports IQ and fitness on the soccer field.
In the classroom I study hard and maintain a high GPA while taking all honors and AP courses. I have achieved a 4.2 GPA in my freshman year of high school and am looking to keep improving in the classroom going forward. I want to attend a college that not only pushes me athletically, but also academically. In college I hope to study sports medicine or biotechnology.
