Personal Statement

I am a devoted sports enthusiast, and my passion is the beautiful game of soccer. My desire is to play competitive soccer at the collegiate level while pursuing an academic program focused on the study of BioChemistry, Chemistry or Pre-Med to build a professional career in medicine. My competitive ambition from sports carries over to my education where I’m a member of the National Honors Society and have been recognized with “Highest Honors” and “Academic Achievement” awards.

I started playing soccer at the age of four and immediately fell in love with the game. My joy for the game has rapidly grown. In fact if I am not playing soccer, I am watching it. Soccer is the main sport but not the only sport I have played. I have participated in track and field, played baseball for 5 years in which I was an Allstar in all seasons, and played basketball at the AAU level.   In addition to organized sports, I participate in Crossfit, biking, canoeing, and kayaking.

My athletic collegiate goal is to demonstrate the leadership and drive I have shown for my school and club team. I aspire to play for a coach who promotes team tactical play, hard work, team possession, attacking drive, and team goal setting. I want to be challenged and continue to develop as a complete player.

Academically, my goal is to play at a college that offers a strong BioChemistry, Chemistry or Pre-Med  program. I want a University that gives me the field of study I want, but also a soccer program where I can continue to enrich my skills.

I do love to score goals and contribute with assists, but I am more focused on the team. I am willing to do anything in order for our team to win. Finally, I want to grow as a soccer player while finding a University that lets me grow as a person.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
