Personal Statement
There were many experiences in my life that have shaped me into the person I am today. Academically, for example, was when I was in the fourth grade, I had received a very low grade. From that moment on, I made it a priority to always do my best in school and receive grades that were at a high standard. My academic goal in high school is to graduate with a GPA that is 4.0 or higher. In college, my goal is to graduate with a GPA that is 3.5 or higher. I fell in love with soccer at a very young age. When I was three years old, I went to my sister's soccer games every weekend. I liked watching, but loved playing more. I started playing the very next year. Through 12 years of playing, I have learned that I am a natural leader. I am the type of person to bring a team together and guide them in a direction to win. I have also learned that I can take constructive criticism and use it to become a better player. During my life, there were obstacles that I had to overcome to be successful. One obstacle was being cut from my EPYSA state team. After this, I learned that not everything goes your way in life. After this experience, I learned to work as hard as possible to become a better player. One of my strengths is my ability to read the game. This helps me play to my maximum potential every game. I look forward to finding the right school for me and excelling there both academically and athletically.
