Personal Statement

As a player, I choose to be a leader on any team I play for. I take the opportunity to pull the team together through communication and encouragement whenever possible. I enjoy those moments of extra hard work that make the difference on the field and I am always willing to go the extra mile in outworking my previous self. 

Off the field, in my academic state of mind, I am a very scientific guy. I enjoy deep scientific conversations about topics such as space travel, human technological development, or even the economic impacts of a changing climate.

In a school, I am looking for a hard-working soccer program with ambitious goals, and an academic institution where I can gain a quality degree in one of my preferred fields of study, Aerospace Engineering or Sustainable Energy Solutions.

  • Notes: During my second year at the club, I commanded the full-time position of #1 goalkeeper. During this season, I matured in playing ability and mental approach toward goalkeeping.

Honors Classes:
Yes. I took all Honors classes in my freshman year at Wheeling Park. At Linsly, they only offer AP-level courses in addition to the regular classes. Linsly's level of education is considered to be equal to an honors class at a normal school. During my senior year at the Kiski School, I am enrolled for Honors Physics. I will also be enrolled in two inportant engineering-focused classes, to prepare me for studying engineering in post-secondary school.
