Ive played soccer since I was four years old and i love the game truly. The game has taught me a lot of things, like leadership, responsibility, work ethic, and commitment. All of these things help me on and off the field. Ive always thought responsibility is very important because I learned it at a young age when i had to watch my younger sisters while my parents were at work. I feel lucky to have learned this quality early and the importance that came with it. Commitment is something I take very seriously. There have been times where a coach or a program created a bad situation. My parents wanted me to switch schools, but I was loyal to my team mates and stayed because my team mates are more important to me. Soccer is an important sport all around the world for many reasons, a way that it's important to me that hopefully I can use soccer to better myself through college and beyond.
