If you asked me at four years old what I want to be when I grow up, I would have told you that I was going to be a professional soccer player. At seventeen years old, that long-term goal has not changed. I have committed myself to the sport of soccer and to my academics for as long as I can remember. I (and my family) have made sacrifices to be afforded the opportunities to reach that goal. I attended a local soccer academy in middle school. I also attended a sports academy in Copenhagen, Denmark for a year in high school. I have played competitively for the last 7 years at the club level, including NPL at Charleston Soccer Club for the last two years. Through all of this my commitment to my academics never wavered. I have taken honors classes since middle school, and I am taking all dual credit courses at Trident Technical College for my senior year. I am committed to working hard to obtain the goals I have set for myself. My ultimate goals are to play in college at the D1 or D2 level at an academically challenging institution and move on to the professional level after graduating.
