Personal Statement
I have little soccer experience but I make up for my inexperience in effort, motivation, and athleticism. I work every day in the off-season to better my game and improve as an overall athlete. I was blessed enough to make the playoffs my junior year but unfortunately we fell short in the first round. Not making it past the first round lead me to better myself as a player and as a leader. I wasn't able to play sports my first two years of high school due to a back injury but once I took therapy for a little over a year, my back is stronger than ever before. The highlight of my high school career was beating our rival and the bus ride home is one of my favorite memories throughout all of high school. I think I grew the most as a student-athlete when my best friend played an entire season as keeper with a torn ACL. I admired his work ethic and strive to always put the team above all else, no matter the circumstance. I work as hard in the classroom as I do on the field, and am very proud of my academic success. I'm a fast learner and I know that I have what it takes to play at the collegiate level.
