Personal Statement
Going into freshman year in high school I was coming off of a record breaking eighth grade season for my middle school scoring 32 goals and tallying 16 assists. I knew that going into my freshman year would be a different beast though, so I was quite shocked to make the varsity team straight away. I only played about 40 minutes each game at a position I was not comfortable at so it wasn't the ideal season personally even though the team finished top 8 in the state. However, last season really picked up for me as I earned a starting spot at my preferred position. From there, I grew more as a player than I ever had in the past. We finished this year in the state semi finals in the highest division possible and look to just go forward next year which will be my junior season! For this upcoming travel season I tried out for the 01' and 02' split ECNL team for Tennessee Soccer Club and was fortunate enough to make that team and the 01' and 02' ECNL team for FC Alliance which is also located in Tennessee. I ended up choosing FC Alliance and I am thankful for the opportunity to play at the highest level possible during such a crucial season in my career.
I believe that always being on a team surrounded by all state caliber players in games and practices starting in my seventh grade travel season all the way until now is what has made me capable of competing for any collegiate program by the time I am able to commit. I have been blessed with great coaches and teammates to get me to the point I am at now and can't wait to see what the future brings. Regardless of who I am able to play for I know I will be able to compete and can't wait to see what the future holds!
