Personal Statement
Hello. My name is Warren and I’ve dreamed of playing collegiate soccer since I was a kid and have been preparing for it ever since! My accomplishments sophomore year included: 8 clean sheets, 1 assist (as goalkeeper!), and earning the Co-keeper MVP of the year for the district (6 teams). I tied alongside the district champion goalkeeper, who was a senior, so I feel that was a great accomplishment for me! This Junior season we experienced a coaching staff change; however, our team became District champions (after 12 years) and made it to Regionals, for the first time in history. I was voted all-tournament goalkeeper at the conclusion of the tournament, along with being named goalkeeper of the year for Robertson County.
I am a driven individual who has many leadership skills, thanks to 11 years in the scouting program which has allowed me to have received the highest rank in this program, Eagle Scout. These leadership skills help goalkeeping, as I coach the defensive players from the box, in addition to workplace and peer dynamics. My ideal college will have both a rigorous nursing and soccer program as I am looking forward to success in both areas of my collegiate career.
Thank you for taking the time to read my personal statement!
