Personal Statement
Ever since I was able to run and kick a ball I've been practicing and playing soccer. I started out playing for NASA and since then I've been able to grow and develop as an extremely competitive, strong, and dependable player. After NASA I was able to join my current much more competitive club where my skills as an individual and team player rapidly increased, and not to mention my mental toughness plus being stubborn when it came to giving up in an extremely uphill battle. I've currently been with my club for about 5 years now in the hopes that I'm able to gain some recognition for future recruitments to great colleges that have fairly well rounded styles of play that I can adopt, adapt, and dominate with. The reason I want to continue with soccer in college (and hopefully professionally) is because of the competitive rush/thrill everyone watching and playing gets when an intense game between two very skilled teams starts to come down to the wire in the final moments of a game. Since my days in NASA that's the exact rush I've been chasing all my life and I believe it shows just how passionate and involved I am when it comes to the sport I've been giving my all to.
