Ethan Dacaret '21 Recruiting Profile

I was three years old when I first kicked a soccer ball. Ever since then, I’ve found a passion in soccer and have continued to play the sport growing up. 

I’ve been lucky enough to have played soccer on multiple continents and experience the different types of playing styles from different countries. This has definitely influenced the way I play the game and has helped me become a better player. 

I’m a very versatile player and have the ability to play in multiple positions. I also can read the game which allows me to pick out a good pass along with knowing where and when to make forward runs. I thrive in attacking scenarios which allow me to take on a defender and either shoot or give a pass. 

In terms of academics, I continue to work hard both inside and outside of the classroom in order to maintain a stable GPA. I’m also a part of numerous service clubs which allow me to give back to the community.

I have recently moved from Singapore and I'm excited to begin the college recruitment process and see how the soccer level is in the US. 

I would like to attend a college which allows me to both thrive on the soccer field and in the classroom. I’m open to all options that provide a stable block of support for me as a student and as an athlete. I aspire to become an inspiring role model for others through my soccer and my academics.
