Personal Statement
My goal is to play college soccer at the highest level and go to a college that gives me a chance to play professional soccer. In order to reach this goal I moved to Florida for 2 years under a full IMG Academy scholarship to play in the USSDA. I led my U14 IMG USSDA team in goals in Fall 2014 and Spring 2015. I played up in the U16 IMG USSDA team the next year. Even though my full scholarship continued after that, I moved back to Texas to play in the U17 SRPL Fall 2016. I led my team in goals and assists as an attacking mid. I played up one year in U19 SRPL Fall 2017. Again I led my team in goals and assists. I play in the highest divisions I can to keep improving and challenge myself in training, not just the games.
One of the things I enjoy most about soccer is the training because it is fun and I know how much it helps me improve. I do a lot of team training, small group training, and individual training every week. I try to train smart and train hard to keep improving. I am focused about my goals, I stay out of trouble, and stay on top of my student responsibilities. I am continuing to grow as a student and enjoy my classes. I am learning to work with my teachers in and outside of the classroom. I think this will help me in college.
