Soccer has taught me that winning is a team effort. I learned how my position and effort contributes to the team. As a goalkeeper, I stand at a different viewpoint than anyone else on the field. This advantage grants me the responsibility to make sure the opponent does not score but to also direct and entrust in my defense to step in to protect our goal box as a team. My field time has helped me be competitive in school like joining the STEM Academy and supporting my community by volunteering. I would like to continue playing soccer in college to put my years of experience on the field and studies to play.
