John Doty '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is John Doty and I'm a 2017 graduate at Heritage High School in Frisco, TX. I have played and started on the varsity soccer team since my Junior year. On the field, I play very quick and very smart. I have a great vision when it comes to picking out passes whether i am playing from the back or in the midfield. When I don't have possession of the ball I work hard to win the ball back when my team loses possession. 

Off the field, I am an a-b honor roll student who maintains a 3.4 GPA. I manage to keep my grades up as I play soccer and try to participate in community service as much as possible. I volunteer at a Horse Rescue center nearby.
 
My goal is to find a college placement that will enable me to further my ambition academically as a graphic design or marketing major as well as give me an opportunity to play soccer at the highest level possible. I am looking for a school where my talents on and off the field can culminate, where I can reach my utmost potential. I hope to attend a college that will set the right tone for my future.
