Kian Walsh '27 Recruiting Profile

I am currently 15 years old and play striker/false 9 for U18/U16 Dynamo Academy and have over 65 goals and 30 assists since u13 year (led team twice in season goals scored). I’m captain of the u16 team. The secret to my success on and off the field is my relentless work ethic and work rate. Over the past 5 years, I start my training at 5am before school, working on ball mastery, ball skills, strength/conditioning/plyometric exercises, and flexibility. I say this because this is part of my DNA...I go to bed at 9pm so I can work my best all day long, starting at 5am. I train three times a day including my Dynamo Academy responsibilities, all while going to school enrolled in AP classes.  Although I just started my 10th grade year,  I am a 3.7 student with a PSAT score of 1210 (in 10th grade) while taking AP classes. I love to work hard, maintain discipline, and treat people with respect. I'm also proud of my technical excellence, as I've been rated in the past as the top technical player on the team in my age group from the Dynamo and also when I played in Spain for La Liga Select. Although I hope to play professionally, I would love to play college at an institution with high academic standards while trying to win a national championship. My standards are high b/c I'm a ruthless worker and believe in no short cuts.  I am the first player at practice and the last to leave...this is my legacy and mentality I bring to the Dynamo, and I lead by actions, not empty words. I can't see doing anything less at the collegiate level. I am fluent in Spanish and also a dual national, with US and Mexican Citizenship. In short, my superior quality is work rate and discipline, and I believe this will propel any success I may achieve.
