Personal Statement
Soccer has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I played recreationally through elementary school, and started playing competitively at the start of middle school. I am inspired to play college soccer because I won't be able to settle for anything less. I will always want to go higher and higher and go where soccer takes me. After my freshman year, I was offered an opportunity to sign for a semi-professional men’s team to develop and grow as a player. I took the opportunity, and i improved a lot that year even though I didn’t play for a regular club team. I took the opportunity to learn and grow with older players. I am a central midfielder that likes to make long passes and shoot from distance. I am prepared to take set pieces from anywhere, and do anything I can to help the team. I have also played the outside midfielder positions on both wings. My best attributes from asking coaches are my passing vision and defensive work rate.
My grades have always been very important to me. I currently have a 4.0 and take the most advanced courses available for me. I’m also a member of the National Honor Society.
