Joseph MacDonald '19 Recruiting Profile

Hello, I’m Joseph MacDonald. I am a Goalkeeper from a small town near Houston called Huntsville. I come from what some would call a legacy of soccer. My grandparents where involved in the game through Coaching and being refferes.my mother and uncle also were involved in the game. My mother played a little and later on coached, and my uncle played goalkeeper as well.  Through my career I have played for two club teams and an academy team, and I play at the varsity level for my high school. I have gone to the state tournament and placed in district with my high school team. I also went all the way to the state championship with my Academy team. As a player I strive to play at the highest level I possibly can and the college level is naturally the next step. I would also like to go into collage and get a degree in communications. I have recently discovered a passion for film making and I would love to go into a filed of work such as that. Academics are very important to me because I realize how vital there are in developing skills later on in life.
